How to get a PMID
PMID is the abbreviation for PubMed Identification. This is how
you find the PMIDs of the articles you want to nominate for the Amedeo Prize 2008:
1. Search for an author, a title word
or a journal, either in PubMed or below.
In our example,
we search for an article by Mr. Staszewski about zidovudine. Important: Logical operators like "AND" or "OR" must be
written in capital letters: staszewski AND zidovudine.
2. If the search yields more than one article, the PMIDs are listed
under the journal name.
3. If the search yields only one article (for example when searching for "staszewski AND n engl j med"),
the PMID appears after the abstract at the end of the page.
Copy and paste the PMID.
